I don’t know about you, but sometimes just making the time and brain space to dig into a project is the biggest challenge of all.

So I’ve created an intensive, guided experience to nudge you along from wherever you are in your historical romance project—idea stage, drafting, or revision—and get you to the next step over four Spring Saturdays. Each week we’ll focus on one craft topic and aspect of historical romance, I’ll offer prompts for some co-writing time, then you’ll have the intervening week to work more on your manuscript. When we come back together we’ll share what we’ve accomplished, check in on progress, and tackle the next craft element.

The secret to keeping a reader engaged is creating protagonists they care about and want to follow to the end of the story.

We’ll explore some techniques and secrets to doing just that and work in small groups to put your protagonists to the test. 

Adding complications is a great way to keep raising the stakes for your protagonists—and keep your reader on the edge of their seat!

Once again, let the history be your guide here and give readers an experience that transports them to another time.
